Haley williams (:

Haley williams is the singer for a band called Paramore. I've been listening to them since I was in 6th grade and Haley williams has really inspired me in many different ways. She normally doesn't wear a whole lot of makeup but in this photo that I found she's wearing a sheer layer of silver eyeshadow, a bit of gray and a thin cat eye. I chose this one because it looks amazing on her and I wanted to bring you one of her few looks.

The look we're doing:

the eyes:

step 1). Prep your eyelid with an extremely light concealer.

Step 2). Apply a silver base to the entire eyelid including beneath the eyebrow bone using a medium sized eyeshadow brush.

Step 3). Using a blending brush apply a tiny amount of black eyeshadow to the very edge of the top eyelash line. Blend it in so it doesn't look choppy.

Step 4). Next, you'll apply a thin cat eye to the upper lash line with jet black liquid eyeliner.

Step 5). Underneath the lower lash line you'll also apply a thin line of liquid eyeliner.

Step 6). Apply the mascara to the top and bottom lash lines.

The face:

For the blush I balanced between a neutral light pink and a dark pink because Haley Williams doesn't wear much makeup. Apply the blush with a medium sized face brush like the one I have pictured below.

For the lips I used a clear and light pink lipgloss to create a shimmering effect.

Amy lee please?

The way Amy Lee does her makeup is gorgeous! Especially on her because it makes her eyes POP. I've gotten many requests for this blog entry but I over looked them and did Amy Lee because I think she's amazing and so is her makeup.

The look we'll be doing:

The eyes:

Step 1: Prep your eyelid with concealer. Make sure not to use a large amount of the concealer because if you do it will make the eyeshadow cakey looking and you really don't want that.

Step 2: Using a medium sized makeup brush you're going to apply a light cream colored eyeshadow to the entire eyelid including beneath the eyebrow. This will act as your highlight.

Step 2: With a contour eyeshadow brush you'll now apply the black eyeshadow from the crease of the eyelid down to the eyelash line. Make sure that the eyeshadow is even and there aren't any splotchy places.

Step 3: Next, the brown eyeshadow will be placed over the black eyeshadow. Blend the color out to the outer corner of the eyelid and beneath the bottom lash line. Use the same brush you used for the black eyeshadow.

Step 4: For the eyeliner you'll be using your standard black liquid eyeliner.
Create a medium sized line on the upper eyelid and a very thin line beneath the lower lash line. After you've applied the liquid eyeliner then you're going to use a black stick eyeliner on the water line of your eye. Doing this is going to emphasize the dark coloring of this look.

Step 5: Now, you'll apply mascara to the upper and lower lash line.

The face :

Step 1: For the blush you're going to apply a very light pink to the apples of your cheeks. Amy Lee doesn't wear very much blush in this picture so the color has to be very blend-able. Apply this blush with a medium sized face brush.

Step 2: For the lips you're going to apply a light purple lipstick over a peach colored lip gloss. Blend the lipstick and the lip gloss very well so the purple doesn't look over powering.

Hope you enjoy this look as much as I did :)

I love you all!!

Mrs. Morticia

Growing up the Adams family was one of my favourite shows in the whole wide world! Morticia inspired me with her style and now, I'm giving you the "how to" on her makeup.

Here's a picture to give you an idea of what we're doing here:

The eyes :

Step 1: You're going to prep the eyelid with concealer (as usual)
Doing this is going to make the black eyeshadow show up better against the silver base.

Step 2: Next, you're going to apply the base (beautiful susan)
I didn't get a chance to take a picture of this step but I did happen to take a picture of the product I'm using. Anyway, Using your fluffy medium sized makeup brush you're going to apply the silver base all over the eyelid and even beneath the eyebrow bone. The silver will also act as your highlight.

Step 3: For the main part of this look I used a matte black eyeshadow to go along with the silver. Not many people choose to use a blending brush for this application but I chose to because it really smooths out the eyeshadow and makes the look even more beautiful than it would be with a regular eyeshadow brush.
You'll apply this in the crease of the eyelid and fan it out on the top and on the outer corner of the eye.

Step 4: The eyeliner. I chose to use my usual liquid eyeliner. Only apply a thin line to the upper eyelid. On the lower lid I used an eyeliner brush to gently apply a thin black line. I gently dipped the brush in a tad bit of water, then I swirled it around in the matte black eyeshadow that I used for my main color.

Step 5: For mascara I applied it to my upper and lower lash lines for a dark , dramatic effect.

The face:

Step 1: Morticia seems to like the combination of black and red so I decided to use a light red blush by bare minerals called Papaya. I dusted the blush over the apple of my cheeks using a fluffy medium sized face brush.

Step 2: For the lips I chose to use a light red since that's the color morticia wears 24/7. The lipstick came from Estee Lauder and I forgot to look at the name of the shade.

Step 3: Naturally I have blonde eyebrows but since I was doing the morticia eyeshadow look I had to go over my blonde eyebrows with a black eyeliner pencil. Yes, A BLACK EYELINER PENCIL. Honestly, it's no different from a black eyebrow pencil. I carefully transformed my blonde eyebrows to black eyebrows.

Nicki Minaj bliss

The look I'm going to be showing you how to do today is phenomenal. Nicki minaj is one of my Idols and I dearly love her makeup so in honor of her unique style I'm giving you the tutorial on how to do one of Nicki Minaj's many looks.

The look we'll be doing:

First off, I used Bare Minerals Fairly light concealer powder all over my face.

The eyes :

Step 1: Apply concealer all over the eyelid

Step 2: Using your medium sized eyeshadow brush you're going to dip the brush in to a light matte brown color. I forgot to take a photo of the name of this eyeshadow so please excuse me. I do have the photo of the eyeshadow itself to just give you an idea of the color to use. You're going to put this all over the eyelid.

Step 3: Now, you'll be doing the eyeliner. This is going to be like the usual cat eye. I used a cheap 1$ eyeliner from dollar general.

Step 4: You'll be using an eyeliner brush. Dip the tip of it in a tad bit of water and then gently get a good amount of "Beautiful Susan" On to the brush.
Go back and forth underneath the lower lash line. Make sure you get it to where the silver is visible.

Step 5: Using a black pencil liner , outline your water line. Dark enough to see. Be careful not to poke yourself in the eye! lol :)

Step 6: The last step is to apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes.

Face:
Step 1: Apply the pink blush in the bottom right hand corner of my photo to the apple of your cheeks.

Use a medium sized face brush or an angled blush brush to apply this color.

Step 2: For the lips you'll also be using a pink lipstick. I chose to use Nude rose by Estee Lauder.

Adam lambert remix!

So everyone, this is the blog you've all been waiting for!!!!! For my very first entry on this blog I decided to use Adam lambert, which is one of my biggest idols :) For this look I used Marisa Garcia :) She had the perfect hair color and face structure for it :)

the look you're going to achieve:

Step 1: Apply a layer of concealer to the entire eyelid in a smooth form.

Step 2: Apply the highlight which is going to be a silver eyeshadow.
Apply the eyeshadow with a fluffy, medium sized eyeshadow brush.

what I use:

Bare minerals eye shadow

only put this underneath the eyebrow to create an illuminating effect.

Step 3: next, you're going to use a matte black eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eye. You'll be using the medium sized eyeshadow brush to also apply this and smooth it out in to the middle of your eyelid.

Step 4: I'm completely aware that we already used a black eyeshadow but the difference between the two is this one is sparkly and full of life and it will accent the matte black we already used. Apply with the same brush and use the smoothing with a blending brush.

Step 5: Now, we'll be doing the eyeliner. If you've read most of my blog entries you know that I prefer to use liquid eyeliner over stick eyeliner ANY day because it lasts longer and goes on easier but not in this case. I decided to use estee lauder's black eyeliner pencil because it fits this look to a T.

apply a thin line to only the upper eyelid.

Step 6: The mascara is a key part in any look because that's basically the 'finishing' touch.

Step 7: Now, I darkened the eyebrows with , believe it or not A BLACK EYELINER PENCIL. yes, you read it!!!!!! the reason I did this is because the color of the pencil perfectly matched her eyebrow color so all I did was fill in the spots where there was little or no hair.

FINISHED!!! you've completed a hot new Adam Lambert makeup look :)
